It grieves me that we are destroying our nation from the inside. The Father doesn’t have to send Nebuchadnezzar’s army to destroy us; we do it all by ourselves.
I just witnessed my first funeral Covid style– six pallbearers, one being my brother, all wearing masks and a funeral home filled with masked people seemed like an episode of the Twilight Zone. It is very sad to witness such times.
The economy has been hit hard, yet we keep sending checks out to stimulate it. A nation 22 trillion in debt is sending checks. We have billions of dollars’ worth of destruction to businesses, personal and public properties. America looks like a war zone in many states. The violence is so horrific; we have to have boots on the ground! Our own military has to protect us from our own fellow citizens. The Department of Justice will send hundreds of agents from the DEA, ATF, U.S. Marshals Service, Department of Homeland Security, and FBI to the city of Chicago to “help drive down violent crime.”
“In the last days, there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, WITHOUT SELF-CONTROL, BRUTAL, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people” (2nd Tim 3:1-5).
Our rage and civil unrest over the past few months have killed innocent bystanders, many of them children.
In New York City, over 300 people were shot in the last month alone.
Around 23 people were shot a couple of days ago in Chicago, fifteen of those people were shot outside a funeral home where they were trying to have a memorial for their dead.
Nine children under the age of 18 have been shot to death in Chicago since June 20.
A seven-year-old girl named Natalie was hit in the forehead by a bullet while visiting her grandmother.
—an 8-year-old girl was killed in Atlanta on Saturday night when someone opened fire on a car she was riding in with her mother.
Little babies in car seats have died from gunfire. Oh, Abba!!
— A Black militia group has announced plans to demonstrate in Louisville, KY, this weekend. There were around a thousand of them in Atlanta during the 4th, but their numbers have grown.
Riots sparked by the death of George Floyd have destroyed a $30 million dollar affordable housing project in south Minneapolis, Minnesota. Fires set to buildings and cars continue. Since June, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives has been working with the local and state authorities in St. Paul and Minneapolis, examining over 150 fires that have occurred across the Twin Cities. I’m telling you things you probably already know.
As the chaos and unrest fill our streets, we continue eating, drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage. We continue burying our dead.
“For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24:38-39.
Some are still consumed with the pastor who dreamt of disasters. They label him a false prophet, a charismaniac, an idiotic doomsday naysayer, and yet, everything he’s spoken of since March has mostly come to pass. Violence, civil war in the streets, fires, a broken economy, and death. The Father still gives his people dreams and visions. Pastor Dana mentioned the Russians (Red ones) and the Chinese (virus), and they have been here for a while. The US has ordered China to close its consulate in Houston, Texas, by Friday, in a dramatic escalation in tensions between the two superpowers. The US accused China of sponsoring hackers who had been targeting science labs developing Covid-19 vaccines. But China seems to want to wait and see who will be elected in November.
Pastor Dana Coverstone mentioned going to the bank to make change, but there was none. When you go to the bank and want “change,” it’s sort of like wanting the virus and violence to end, but there’s no change and no peace to make a withdraw of. Yes, many of us have the Prince of Peace, but are we awake? Have we grown cold? Do we have a spirit of anguish for what is happening and the lost who do not know Him?
We are in very grievous times, yet many of us resemble the Walking Dead—and the ones left with any life in Messiah are hiding from those who tear the flesh of anyone they can find to disagree with. Many hope all this chaos and the pandemic will blow over at the end of the dire straits. I pray so, but it doesn’t look good for our nation. Where do we get this wording–dire straits? “Judah has gone into captivity, under affliction and hard servitude; She dwells among the nations, she finds no rest; All her persecutors overtake her in dire straits.” (Lamentations 1:3 NKJV)
“The prudent see danger and take cover, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.” (Proverbs 27:12).
I do not write these words to invoke fear over a virus—or fear over China, Russia, or famine—men of flesh with assault weapons. I write this to ask myself and others if we are awake? “And be not afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but fear rather Him who is able to destroy bott soul and body in Gehenna. (Matthew 10:28).
After the passage on the days of Noah, Yeshua/ Jesus continues speaking in Matthew:
“Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the PROPER TIME? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.”
What is this food and what is the proper time period?
“He hath given meat unto them that fear Him: He will ever be mindful of his covenant” (Torah). (Psalms 111:5).
“For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed” (John 6:55).
Many are fasting over the destruction of the temple, but there is a temple Yeshua mentions and a cleansing that needs to happen again before His return. I believe Yeshua cleansed the temple at the beginning of his ministry and the end. This would make sense prophetically. The first time, after turning water into wine at a wedding, He made a whip and turned over the money tables and drove out the animals. Oh, how we need Yeshua to cleanse our temples.
“When the Passover was near, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts, He found men selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and money changers seated at their tables. So He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle. He poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. To those selling doves, He said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn My Father’s house into a marketplace!”
(When a body becomes a business—isn’t that a prostitute?)
His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your house will consume Me.”
On account of this, the Jews demanded, “What sign can You show us to prove Your authority to do these things?”
Jesus answered, “Destroy this temple, and in three days, I will raise it up again.”
“This temple took forty-six years to build,” the Jews replied, “and You are going to raise it up in three days?”
But Jesus was speaking about the temple of His body. After He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. Then they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.”
I believe the second time He cleansed the temple was during Passover season right before he was crucified.
“And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER’; but you are making it a ROBBERS’ DEN.” And the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.” (Matthew 21:12-14).
Blind and lame people are healed after the cleansing!
It was right before Passover this past year that I heard, “The spirit of Elijah is here. Tell the people to open the door and invite him in as they always do, for he is here.” I prayed about that for a long time because I did not want to speak anything, not of Him. I felt pressed to do a podcast on opening the door and inviting Elijah in with expectancy on Pesach. I was mocked by some for naming my Podcast channel “Elijah’s Prophetic Cup.”
I prayed for confirmation, and several well-known teachers in the Messianic community confirmed what I was hearing. One even spoke on the Spirit of Elijah being here today at a conference recently.
So let’s ponder this:
What did John the Baptist do? He came in the spirit of Elijah. He baptized/immersed the Messiah. He announced that the One they were looking for was here. Behold the Lamb of Yahweh, who takes away the sins of the world. John told the people to repent and do good works. He came as a Voice.
If Elijah is here in spirit, that spirit will yearn to speak the same message and do the same things Elijah/ John did. Those with this spirit will tear down/expose the false altars and expose the false prophets and false leadership. These will be bold to announce that the King is coming! The King is Here! They will sound the alarm to wake the people. “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
But we also know that before Elijah’s voice boomed and he called fire down from heaven, yes, way before the sound of an ABUNDANCE of RAIN–Ruach HaKodesh/ Holy Spirit), there was a famine for 3–1/2 years. 3 ½ plus 3 ½ is seven years.
“Surely the Lord Adonai does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7).
If Elijah is here in spirit, that spirit will yearn to speak the same message and do the same things Elijah/ John did.
“It’s not what goes into the mouth that makes the man unholy; but what comes out of the mouth, this makes the man unholy.”
Then the disciples came and said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees took offense when they heard this saying?”
But He replied, “Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.
Leave them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:11-14). Who are blind guides? Yes, even those who are in leadership and have yeast get cleansed after Yeshua shows up and removes the filth.
The religious spirit in a man/woman always gets offended by the truth. And anyone who comes up against truth becomes a laughing stock. Religion has pride in it. It doesn’t have much room for grace or mercy, compassion, or even enunciating His Name correctly. Religious spirits get caught up in being right—having knowledge—and also a false belief that nothing can touch them. How can people read His word and not read of Job, Stephen stoned, Paul stoned and martyred, John beheaded, many crucified, boiling pots, wandering in sheepskin? Do we think in America that we are without tribulation or suffering? Oh, my heart is grieved. I feel like a pregnant woman in labor writhing and unable to get comfortable.
“O LORD, they sought You in distress;
They could only whisper a prayer,
Your chastening was upon them.
As the pregnant woman approaches the time to give birth,
She writhes and cries out in her labor pains,
Thus were we before You, O LORD.
We were pregnant, we writhed in labor,
We gave birth, as it seems, only to wind.
We could not accomplish deliverance for the earth,
Nor were inhabitants of the world born.
Your dead will live;
Their corpses will rise.
You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy,
For your dew is as the dew of the dawn,
And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits.
Come, my people, enter into your rooms
And close your doors behind you;
Hide for a little while
Until indignation runs its course.
For behold, the LORD is about to come out from His place
To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;
And the earth will reveal her bloodshed
And will no longer cover her slain.” Isaiah 26–
The Spirit of Elijah is not without mentioning two witnesses and the transfiguration. Moses and Elijah will rise again.
“And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days (3 and 1/2 years), clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way. These have the power to shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.” (Revelation 11:3-5).
The spirit of Moses and Elijah had these powers.
They represent the Torah and the Prophets.
“When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them and overcome them and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. 1And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate, and they will send gifts to one another because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.” (Rev. 11:7-10).
(The mighty spirit of Elijah and Moses will bring such a sound and cry for repentance, with signs and wonders that the wicked will want to murder the voices of truth and justice. Those who have reprobate minds and are full of lawlessness have a murderous spirit.
“But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. And, they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” Then they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them. And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
The second woe is past; behold, the third woe is coming quickly.”
Oh, friends, I am not a date setter, but if we ever wanted to start really cleaning our bridal gowns, now would be the time. This is not the time to be playing games. If I heard correctly, and the spirit of Elijah is here, it’s time to get ready. Ravens brought Elijah bread and meat. A raven was sent out of Noah’s Ark and it did not come back.
“Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, “Come, gather for the great supper of God, to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.” (Revelation 19:17-18).
Ezekiel 39:17-20 repeats this, “And as for you, son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: Call out to every kind of bird and to every beast of the field: ‘Assemble and come together from all around to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, a great feast on the mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh and drink blood. You will eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the princes of the earth as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls—all the fattened animals of Bashan. At the sacrifice I am preparing, you will eat fat until you are gorged and drink blood until you are drunk. And at My table, you will eat your fill of horses and riders, of mighty men and warriors of every kind,’ declares the Lord GOD..”
Vultures have recently returned to Israel. A rare Egyptian vulture nest was discovered in the Carmel region in northern Israel, almost six decades after the species was thought to have vanished from the area.” Click HERE. “Ravens have recently taken on the same characteristics and DNA of the ones from 3,000 years ago. “The common raven (Corvus corax) belongs to the crow family and is the largest bird in this group — the US Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology describes ravens as “massive”.
When the disciples ask Yeshua when all these things will take place, we read more about these birds, and let’s not forget Lot’s wife who looked back.
“Remember Lot’s wife. “Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. “I tell you, on that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken, and the other will be left. “There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken, and the other will be left. “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken, and the other will be left.” And answering, they said to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures will be gathered.”
Where will these be taken? Oh, friends, this is not the rapture doctrine; this is a beastly fleshly feast those birds of prey will be feeding on.
Abba feeds his prophet with a raven, and Abba cares for the young ravens..
“Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving;
make music on the harp to our God,
who covers the sky with clouds,
who prepares rain for the earth,
who makes grass to grow on the hills.
He provides food for the animals,
and for the young ravens when they call.” (Psalm 147:7-9).
“Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God as they wander about for lack of food?”
The young ravens call. Can you hear their cries? When the ground cracks and the rivers dry up, He provides food for them. Even widows with a smidgen of oil and a handful of meal, have food for the season. Even pots filled with poison gourds get a meal for the season.
“When Elisha returned to Gilgal (A Circle Of Stones, A Wheel, A Rolling Away), there was a famine in the land. As the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he said to his servant, “Put on the large pot and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.” Then one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine and gathered from it his lap full of wild gourds, and came and sliced them into the pot of stew, for they did not know what they were. So they poured it out for the men to eat. And as they were eating of the stew, they cried out and said, “O man of God, there is death in the pot.” And they were unable to eat. But he said, “Now bring meal.” He threw it into the pot and said, “Pour it out for the people that they may eat.” Then there was no harm in the pot.” (II Kings 4:38-41).
Barnes commentary: “The plant was probably either the Ecbalium elaterium, or “squirting cucumber,” the fruit of which, egg-shaped, and of a very bitter taste, bursts at the slightest touch, when it is ripe, and squirts out sap and seed grains; or the Colocynthis, which belongs to the family of cucumbers, has a vine-shaped leaf and bears fruit as large as an orange, very bitter, from which is prepared the drug sold as colocynth. This latter plant grows abundantly in Palestine.”
Some of the food being served today comes from a ‘wild’ vine. The prophet was able to take “meal,” and make the unclean food clean. The word in Hebrew in verse 40 is not just bitter but maveth. It means death, as in pestilence. We have death in the pot. We need Yeshua, the Anointed One to cleanse us from these gourds. These gourds come from bad trees and those not caring for His Sheep. Their roots are rotten.
“Please let me sing to the One I love, a song for my loved One regarding His vineyard: my loved One has a vineyard on a fertile hill. And He dug it up and cleared it of stones, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a watchtower in its midst, and also made a winepress in it. And He waited for the yielding of grapes, but it yielded rotten ones. “And now, O inhabitant of Yerushalayim and man of Yehuḏah, please judge between Me and My vineyard. “What more could have been done to My vineyard that I have not done in it? Why, when I waited for the yielding of grapes, did it yield rotten ones?” “And now, please let Me inform you what I am doing to My vineyard: To take away its hedge and it shall be burned; to break down its wall and it shall be trampled down; and I lay it waste; it is not pruned or dug and thornbushes and weeds shall come up; and I command the clouds not to rain on it.”For the vineyard of יהוה of hosts is the house of Yisra’ĕl, and the man of Yehuḏah is His pleasant plant. He looked for right-ruling, but see, oppression; for righteousness, but see, weeping. (Isaiah 5:1-7, ISR).
“For a good tree does not yield rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree yield good fruit.“For each tree is known by its own fruit. For they do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.” (Luke 6:44).
He says the same thing in Matthew 12: “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things?” Every bad tree with rotten roots and bad fruit is cut down and thrown in fire. Matthew Chapter 23 has a long list of characteristics for religious spirits and the horror of what it does to baby lambs and full-grown sheep. He gives all the characteristics of men who desire accolades from men and to be called teacher, teacher. Yeshua says things to the leaders, the Torah scholars that are so blunt and sharp and pointed, I am sure speaking them today to anyone with such clout would come across highly offensive. We must read Yeshua’s words and see if we have any of these characteristics. Ask yourself if you have become so consumed with Torah study and rabbinical prayers and teachings that you have left off the Words in red and the blood of the Lamb. Look deeper into your spiritual condition, has it grown colder yet you feel more knowledgeable? Do you still feel His Wind? Do you feel an unction to pray? Are you tucked up under His Wing? Let’s be careful of the yeast of the Pharisees for I see it blowing in the breeze and placing a religious spirit over the Body that has blinded the eyes of many. Yeshua is the Living Torah and He is life, He is the Way and the Truth. We must come back to our first love. Please pray with me for His Bride and our nation.
