Revolution: a forcible overthrow of a government or social order, in favor of a new system.
Before I get to the meat of this blog, I want to reiterate that I love to minister to broken people. I don’t care if they are tattooed, pierced, gender confused, homeless or addicts, etc. And I have ministered to those. I don’t try to beat them with a Bible or a hammer over their head. I long to hold the broken and wounded and love them as Yeshua would.
One of the roles the Father gave me is to bring correction and address leadership. Not the most fun assignment at times, especially when I realize how much I need to work on in my own walk.
This blog is about the Jesus Revolution movie and the revivals we’ve seen of late, Asbury and Lee University, etc..
We need a Yeshua Messiah revolution, not a Jesus revolution.
For a while now, we have had a significant Yeshua revolution that still lacks maturity, but we are seeing fruit and unity.
The “church/world” has had a Jesus revolution for a long time—and we can look at our government, our youth, our violence and crime statistics, drug infiltration, and broken families, let alone the people who have left the church and realize it’s not working. Christianity wants grace with no law( Torah). How’s that working for us? Not well.
The Jesus revolution teaches and paints a picture of a false Messiah—a messiah who does not obey His Father’s commandments. That does not mean that there aren’t good men and women involved in it who are humble.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is able to do none at all by Himself, but only that which He sees the Father doing, because whatever He does, the Son also likewise does.” (John 5:19)
“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me” (John 5:30).
Many ministry’s water down the Gospel and teach our youth that Yeshua accepts them just as they are, but that implies everything goes. Yeshua told the woman at the well that she didn’t know the true gospel. He didn’t say it was okay that her people had thrown out the prophets or that they worshipped on the wrong mountain.
“Believe Me, woman,” Jesus replied, “a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.” (John 4:21-22).
He told Peter he was acting as an adversary when he spoke against his death and suffering. “Get behind me, Satan,” is what he said. He spoke the TRUTH in LOVE.
Of course, Yeshua told the elite leadership that the sick needed a doctor when they saw him eating and drinking with tax collectors and sinners (Matthew 9), but a good doctor heals you and cures you from gender identity and drug addiction, and adultery, among other sins. He does not give us a band aide or tell us it’s okay to walk in disobedience. He doesn’t tell us it’s okay to look at porn or have sex with children and animals or to wear stilettos and push-up to the assembly.
Judgment starts at His House. “for those who guide this people have been leading them astray, and those who are guided by them are swallowed up” (Isaiah 9:16). This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Judah, even four, I will not revoke My judgment, because they reject the Law of the LORD and fail to keep His statutes; they are led astray by the lies in which their fathers walked. (Amos 2:4).
The tree of Life is our Father’s instructions which have been translated in error as “laws.” And when we break the commandments, we end up suffering for it. His instructions say, “Owe no man,” but America owes over 31 trillion. Our leaders get more corrupt and ignorant, more arrogant and crooked and Adonia allows it for He places Kings on thrones and removes them.
Christian colleges never existed until, well, Mr. Moody started them. They are often taught by men who have thrown out the beginning of the book. They base the Bible on Paul’s letters which they erroneously twist. They read the Book backwards.
“He (Paul) writes this way in all his letters, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.” (II Peter 3:16).
Sadly, we don’t need any more bumper stickers that say “Jesus loves you” with a smiling-faced person with no power. We don’t need “What would Jesus do,” bracelets when we are too ignorant to know what Yeshua would do or how he would have prayed or studied or worshipped.
We need people to realize that Christianity is missing the true identity of the Messiah, and nothing, about it looks anything like what our Messiah and the apostles would have taught. The church has evolved over time. Just as schools during my parent’s day were focused on prayer and Bible reading, and discipline if you acted out. Today, schools have teachers who are predators and students who are killers. We are living in dark times. During my grandparent’s day, they were ignorant of many of the verses but, with great fear, wore dresses to their ankles. They Took care of those in the community. Worked hard and raised animals, gardened, and read the Bible daily. There was a fear of the Holy One.
We live in a different time. The world is in the “House.”
No one bowed their head and closed their eyes and said a prayer of salvation in the Bible. Not even thousands of Jews gathered in Acts chapter two on the day of Pentecost, Shavuot in Hebrew. Not one. Paul never became a Jewish Christian. It never happened.
And when men asked John the Baptist how to be saved or bring forth good fruit worthy of repentance, he said give to those who have no coat—those who have no food, give food. And when Zacchaeus, the tax collector, said he would pay back all the money he’s stolen and give it to the poor, Yeshua, not Jesus, said this day, salvation has come to your house. Yeshua had not died yet. He had not resurrected.
Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.”
And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:9-10).
Revival is often good if those who were serious and hungry begin to seek Him and ask for truth and read His whole Book and find teachers who are knowledgeable of the beginning of the Book, but when this does not happen, often what we are left with is fireworks that go out or a Sunday morning service with donuts and fruit cups and a watered down message and no accountability.
We don’t need to listen to men who do not know the Torah of Elohim. These men make movies and television shows and water down the true gospel of the Holy One.
Matthew 24:5,11,24 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many…
They will teach Yeshua is the Messiah but deceive MANY.
Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
2 Peter 2:3And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you:
Emotionalism pulls on the heart.
If a man is writing, teaching, and making movies and television series and he does not see our Fathers’ feasts or his Torah, if he mocks about eating food that our Father commanded us not to— if he teaches anything against the Holy One. Run. It’s not truth. Yeshua doesn’t say to throw out His Father’s Torah or His feasts. God never said they were Jewish feasts; He said they were His Holy days.
“Speak to the Israelites and say to them, ‘These are My appointed feasts, the feasts of the LORD that you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.”
Lev. 23: 2.
Love and truth go together. A Lion and a Lamb.
He who has been forgiven much loves much. He that gets a “now, now, it’s okay. Jesus loves you anyway,” is being lied to. Following the commandments and being obedient is a walk, and I have badly fallen away at times and limped and crawled, but a righteous man will finally raise up to 7, completion and walk it out. Once a person realizes that most of what they have been taught is a lie, emotionalism, and commandments of men, it’s hard to watch.
The commandments clearly tell us how to be blessed, and the opposite tells us how to walk in curses. And neither one looks like what the smiling evangelist told us.
We read about a church in revelations that thought they had it all, and Yeshua told them they were blind, poor, pitiful, and they needed eye salve. And they needed some refiner’s fire.
If we don’t start standing for truth and men don’t start standing at the gate as Boaz, we will not be in Goshen with those who have light. We will be weeping in Egypt over the death of our firstborn son, children, grandchildren, and seed.
This is so hard to write. I tell you, the older I get, and the more He presses me to write, the more I am judged. It is hard to be obedient at times. I am grieved at the darkness that has spread over our youth and the trickery of the enemy. I know if the true Gospel was going forth, there would be Power, humility, love, grace, and a fear of the Holy One that would bring change and resurrection from the dead and balance.
We have dead men walking. Numb. Desensitized, broken beings that are hurting. The new drug to hit New York today is called Xylazine, Zombie drug that causes skin rotting and overdosing. We have overdosed on our phones, social media, sports, things with no anointing or power, and seen so much violence and filth we are like zombies. May the Power of His Holy Spirit raise up those who are weeping between the porch and the altar.
True love looks different than the watered-down anything-goes Gospel we have happening today. Like the government we have today.
What is love? Love is not caught up in emotions. Love must have boundaries. Love is not about being free to do whatever feels good or whatever we want. It’s not love when a judge in New York lets a killer back out on the streets, and he kills again. Love stands for Justice and truth. Love doesn’t make promises and say words to a person with a commitment to do those things, then justify why they don’t have to keep their word.
Love is not the picture Hollywood depicts it as. It’s not what the music industry tries to paint it to be.
Love holds people accountable.
Love did not come down from a mountain after not eating for 40 days and say, oh, that calf is lovely, but we need to stop that. No, the anger and rage in Moses were evident when he ground that calf into powder and made them drink the water.
Yeshua did not come down from a cross and remove His Father’s Torah.
When you buy something from the store and try to put the baby crib or whatever it is together without the instructions. Sometimes you end up with a mess.
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law (Torah) of the LORD (YHWH). Blessed are those who keep His testimonies and seek Him with all their heart. They do no iniquity; they walk in His ways. You have ordained Your precepts, that we should keep them diligently. Psalm 119:1-4.
Do we crucify Him over again when we act like He’s okay with disobeying His Father’s Word? Through ignorance, we have done that. Oh, that the leader’s eyes would be opened. Oh, that men would have a heart for the fatherless. That the sons and the fathers would be restored. Oh, that we would weep over the condition of the world. That we would be as Boaz at the gates of our cities. That we would be marked as those in Ezekiel:
“Then the glory of the God of Israel rose from above the cherubim, where it had been, and moved to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side. “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem,” said the LORD, “and put a mark on the foreheads of the men sighing and groaning over all the abominations committed there.”
And as I listened, He said to the others, “Follow him through the city and start killing; do not show pity or spare anyone! Slaughter the old men, the young men and maidens, the women and children; but do not go near anyone who has the mark. Now begin at My sanctuary.”
So they began with the elders who were before the temple.
Then He told them, “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go forth!”
So they went out and began killing throughout the city.
While they were killing, I was left alone. And I fell facedown and cried out, “Oh, Lord GOD, when You pour out Your wrath on Jerusalem, will You destroy the entire remnant of Israel? He replied, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of bloodshed, and the city is full of perversity. (Ezekiel 9:3-9).
Bo Yeshua, May Yeshua come down in the Spirit more each day as an army of shofar blowing people continue to grow and grow and permeate like the good yeast Yeshua mentions.
“He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.” (Matthew 13)
