I painted this during a snowstorm while staying at a friend’s place. I think we got 18 inches of snow. These birch trees make me happy. I hope you enjoy Birch Blooms.
This is one of the first paintings I did. I gave it to my sister as a birthday gift or housewarming gift. It hung over her dining room table for years until she sold the house. It is now the focal point of my kitchen, unsigned and unnamed. A Basket of Fruit?
After I lost every title that defined me as a person, I became homeless for a year. I painted this during one of my couch surfing events. I named her The Homeless Mermaid:
The Sunflowers were painted and placed in a boutique for sale. My sister purchased this one and hung it in her hallway. They now belong to a dear friend.
This painting is a replica of a picture I made for one of my sons. I found a magazine advertisement with a similar image, and it inspired me. I named this one, The Naked Church.
I named this abstract painting, The Green Lady. She hangs at my oldest son’s house. People either love her or hate her.
After being very sick, unable to work, drive, or function, one day after a long spell, I laid in the floor and painted this picture. It’s very colorful, but not the best details on the flowers. This hangs over my dad’s dining room table. I named it Healing Perfume:
These trees are also very simple, but I liked the background colors. This painting is called, Serenity.
This photo hangs in Washington state at a dear friend’s house. It was a watercolor painting, and one much more detailed in person, and it has a soothing feel to it. I named her The Sleeping Lady!
This is a painting I started doing after I was married. I created it for my daughter-in-law. The woman in the picture reminded me of her, and she is a beautiful butterfly. I titled this one, The Becca.
There is a process to painting. Here is a sample.
This painting hangs in my sisters-in-law’s house.
This woman is one of my favorite paintings. She just brings me Sunshine! I hot glued a piece of burlap for the seed bag, and I hot glued a butterfly on her back to give it a pop.
Poppies for my sister’s birthday.
