For those of you who went camping for a week, I hope you had a wonderful time. There is nothing like a warm beverage and a campfire, and there is also nothing like a beach gathering. Being outside and unplugged with friends and family is the way to go if you can do it. Also, practicing self-love, self-care, and, of course, a good book. Wink, wink.
This month, we gave away almost 1,000 free Polishing Jades. We pray that every broken woman trying to flee abuse or needing strength to see her worth is blessed by Jade!
I recently was invited to do a private book signing with several lovely authors, some of whom are New York Times and USA Today best sellers. The mystery crime thrillers were popular tables. I was the only table with spiritual books, and it was good to sell some and speak with people about our Father’s goodness.
Here are a few photos Chief captured:
My poetry book is at the editors. As we get closer to the release date, Manning the Gate Publishing plans on having a poetry contest with cash prizes and the winner’s poem featured in my poetry book. We are also working on a shop to sell items, book totes, T-shirts, and other items.
In other news, I have asked a friend to write some added chapters to the fourth book in my Series, Unmasking the Unseen, King Revealed. She has been studying a few needed topics for decades. Subject matter that the Body needs to see with our Father’s eyes. Merri was raised Jewish and has a rather fragrant testimony that I am hoping she will share with us sooner rather than later. You can read her latest poetry HERE.
Also, just because the cycle is new, the glorious feasts are still foreign to many. If we want to reach a large audience who has never seen the Face of the Messiah in the feasts days, we must present them with love. UnPretentiousness. My feast book, Unveiling the Messiah in the Spring Feasts, is free when anyone subscribes to my website. If you have family or friends you would like to share this with, just send them a link to my website. See Bundle deals in my shop.
Also, regardless of where you gather or what assembly you attend, our language and words matter. I have never impressed a homeless beggar with a lesson in Hermeneutics. I’ve yet to comfort a broken woman using language or words she would not understand. It’s really not what all we know that’s important. It’s how we treat and speak to others who have less, know less, and are looked upon as less than. Can you hear the leaders, the elite, “If he knew what kind of woman she is… If he were truly a prophet he would not let that woman anoint his feet-head.” The greatest prophet was standing in the room, and only the woman with a past knew it. Abba have mercy!
In the Beginning…
One last thought:
Since we have entered the darker days and the Halloween season, I wanted to remind you that Spirits Unveiled is still a great read, especially at this time of year. There is much to unveil concerning the spiritual realm. Gift it to a friend who is ignorant to the witchcraft that is harming so many today as they search for help and answers in all the wrong places.
Blessings,
Tekoa Manning
Tekoa is the Hebrew word for trumpet/shofar, the sound that brings people together in unity.” (Abarim Publications definition)
