Some told me not to write this, but I’m prepared for what may follow:
I’m going to share a recent dream and interpretation today, but first…
I’ve been feeling broken and grieved. Have you? Our Messiah was hanging out with broken people. Lepers, bent over broken women, the blind, the deaf, and men accused of being great sinners. And he wept. He wept over Jerusalem. Jesus/ Yeshua could see that in the distant future his people would be removed from their land.
I’ve lost homes. One stands out. It was not anything extravagant. It was around 1,000 square feet or more. One car garage. The tiniest bathroom. A person living in a half a million dollar home might of looked at it and thought Whoop De do! But a home is a shelter. It’s family. It’s memories. Ironically, I worked hard as a single mom and as a server at the Olive Garden to buy it. In my dream, i was at the Olive Garden, but I’ll get to that in a moment.
As a single mom waiting tables, my great accomplishment of owning a home might have looked like nothing much in someone else’s eyes, and we tend to have eye troubles in these ways. Our eyes need salve. Our eyes need scales to fall off. Our eyes need empathy.
Today, in many places, people have no homes. A slab of concrete blown off a building could be their home. A ragged tent. A cave. A shanty hut, it does not matter the price tag; when you lose your shelter, your security, your cabinet with your tea or coffee cup, your thermostat, a place to shut a door in your bathroom, it’s traumatic!
Back to my dream:
I was working at Olive Garden Restaurant (meditate on Gethsemane/crushing), but there were no “servers/servants.” The assistant manager told me that I was the only server working that night. This was not a prophet thinking he was “the only one” moment. No, the dream had many more details. As I stood in the restaurant, I waited on a few people. An older couple, a family, two women, and then in a blink of the eye, the whole restaurant was full of people. I tried to help many, but keeping up with the orders/ needs was becoming difficult.
The lighting in the restaurant was dim. A storm was brewing outside. I knew i could not serve all these people alone. I begged the assistant manager ( a person I know) to help me. To call in more servers. In real life, her name means “messenger.” She said she was going to ask the general manager (this is a woman in leadership that I know), in the dream, I could see her going and asking to help me wait on the people. The manager’s face flashed with anger, she belted, “ No, you cannot help her!” The assistant returned in tears. She said, “ I want to help you serve, but she won’t let me.”
This is happening right now! Many prophetic voices want to speak but feel they can’t or may be attacked by leadership if they do.
Back to my dream:
Another blink of the eye, and not only were all the tables full, but the outer walls had people standing. I turned around and four young women were standing behind me as i left a table.
I said, “ Oh, I’m thankful you’re here. I thought they were servers. I said, “I need help so badly!” I began to tell them what sections they would be working in when one chubby lady with long dark hair said very condescendingly, “We are not here to serve, Ha! We are here to be fed!”

My heart was overcome with grief. “Not here to serve??” How hungry are we? Some, like this child in the photo live by olive gardens but lack any sustenance.
In my dream I was exhausted.
Maybe the young women in my dream represent what has happened to us? Serve us more biblical knowledge so our heads can puff up, but our hearts remain far away from Him. Where is our first love?
About that time, I began to pray.”Oh, Abba Father, I cannot serve all these people.” The storm grew louder, and a bolt of lightning struck the restaurant’s center, and all the power went out. Total darkness. This is when I began to praise Him in the darkness. I was thankful for the darkness because I was so weary and exhausted.
Several verses come to mind:
“Do not be weary in well doing. for in due time we will reap if we don’t give up.”Galatians 6:9.
“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.” John 9:4.
“Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. “Matthew 9: 37.
“Adonai said he would dwell in thick darkness.”
I Kings 8:12.
Suddenly, in my dream, the lights came back on after another bright bolt of lightning shot through the restaurant.
Out of nowhere, Musicians appeared in the center of the room and played worship, and I began singing a Micheal W Smith song:
Above all powers
Above all kings
Above all nature
And all created things
Above all wisdom
And all the ways of man
You were here
Before the world began
Above all kingdoms
Above all thrones
Above all wonders
The world has ever known
Above all wealth
And treasures of the earth
There’s no way to measure
What You’re worth
Crucified
Laid behind a stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all
Today, people crave being fed knowledge. They run from place to place, but Amos said there is a far greater hunger coming:
Behold, the days are coming,
declares the Lord GOD,
when I will send a famine on the land—not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.
12People will stagger from sea to sea and roam from north to east,
seeking the word of the LORD,
but they will not find it.
13In that day the lovely young women—the young men as well—will faint from thirst.
Amos 8:11-13.
Death toll in Gaza has surpassed 55,000. Over 100,000 injured. There is no way to count the dead under concrete.
Yet, roughly 8,000 militants have been killed.
I could discuss Nigeria and the death toll of Christians being slaughtered there, or the war in Ukraine, Sudan, etc, but my heart is in dire grief over what is happening in Israel due to the great deception.
Wars are savage.
And what would our Messiah speak if he were standing amongst the rubble, the scent of rotting corpses?
Where are the servants today? Possibly,- and I think surely, it was MY FOOD the manager did not want served.
My food? My food is compassion and empathy for people starving to death, dying, thirsting, homeless.
Today, many people place world leaders on pedestals. They don’t think they are liars, thieves, murderers, or corrupt. No man can make any nation truly great again. Greatness is not holiness or righteousness, therefore its never great. Do not be deceived by prayers rolled up and placed in a wall. True, unadulterated religion is caring for orphans and widows, and not getting stained and tainted by this old world, but some think certain humans are not worthy of life.
Hello, Cain.
Are we standing in the storms, serving compassion while people mock hunger? And then—when the power goes out—and thick darkness is all around, can we praise?
Work while its still light? May we, His Body, wake up, not fill up on bread that cannot satisfy.
Many of you probably think, “Tekoa/Bonnie, why must you continue going on about this war?” Or all the wars—there have always been wars and discussing it only causes division.
Honestly, I can only be myself.
Sadly, watching screaming children with bombs going off sitting amongst rubble is so gut-wrenching to look at that my heart is broken. Broken to pieces! Seeing thin, hungry people being shot at while they try to get food. Carrying children with their legs bloody, arms missing.
Have you watched all the UN and various sources reporting lately, or listened to doctors and surgeons who have been on the ground in Gaza? Do you call it fake news?
But the other hard thing to watch is Israeli Settlers posting their own videos of their children stomping food supplies, aid being readied to be sent to Gaza.
Children gleefully mocking as they are deliberately destroying as much as they can to keep it from being delivered to starving Gazans.
Palestinians are not Hamas. They are not Amalek.
Certain news outlets portray all Gazans as evil. A people who will only raise their children to hate Jews. Are all American’s the same? Our elections would beg to differ.
Are certain people groups more evil?
“Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no!”
Amos 6 comes to mind:
Woe to those at ease in Zion
and those secure on Mount Samaria, the distinguished ones of the foremost nation,
to whom the house of Israel comes. Cross over to Calneh and see; go from there to the great Hamath; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms?
ARE YOU BETTER than these kingdoms?
Is their territory larger than yours? You dismiss the day of calamity and bring near a reign of violence. You lie on beds inlaid with ivory, and lounge upon your couches. You dine on lambs from the flock and calves from the stall.
5You improvise songs on the harp like David and invent your own musical instruments.
6You drink wine by the bowlful
and anoint yourselves with the finest oils, but you fail to grieve over the ruin of Joseph.”
It’s hard to read posts by some ministers who call starving Palestinians “animals.”They post pictures of people trying to get a sack of flour who have had no food for weeks, and post again with captions, “Look at the animals.” How many animals do we have on our own soil?
Are not all humans created with the divine spark? Yes, some are bent on evil, but that’s on all sides, all religions, and all corrupt men in positions of power.
He who saves a life, saves the world…
Have you studied and researched Netanyahu’s right-hand men? And now Iran. War crimes. Arrest warrants. Yes, all of Israel will be surrounded again and again until they see Him, the One they pierced.
If King Ahab and Jezebel were in office, would we shout, “I stand with the state of Israel?”
Should we speak kindly to Jezebel? Do we try to work things out with her and reconcile?
Jezebel calls for a fast. She has the outward appearance of being righteous. She even follows the Torah’s command for two or three witnesses. She needs them so she can falsely accuse the true owner of the vineyard, kill his seed, and stop his vineyard from flourishing and producing fruit, but she will end up with dogs licking her blood.
When Israel forced all their people to get the vax, did you stand with that? This is not the spiritual Bible study from thousands of years ago. Netanyahu is not Moses. Trump is not God. Land is not holy when its full of bloodshed and starvation.
America and the state of Israel joined together in UNHOLY matrimony. Billions of dollars are spent on bombs and weapons. Journalists are not allowed to report the horrors. Those reporting are murdered. At least 181 journalists and media workers have been killed since the war started.
According to Unicef, by January this year 14,500 Palestinian children in Gaza had been killed by Israel; 17,000 are separated from their parents or orphaned; and Gaza has the highest percentage of child amputees in the world.
“HAMAS, Hamas” people shout. And when I proclaim I’m trying to feed people there and support starving infants and those dying of malnourishment, I’m met with “Oh, you’re standing with the terrorist Hamas??!?”
How am I ?
It’s Insanity.
May we rethink the words we speak. But since I’ve brought up Hamas. People say, “well, what about all the women Hamas raped and the babies in ovens?” I have shown in recent blogs, See Part I and II of this series where I show using Israeli sources, that Israel admits they were erroneous and largely deliberate fabrications.
No babies were placed in ovens.
There were not 40 beheaded babies. Only one baby, a toddler, was killed on October 7, and tragically, the Bibas family, including the children, the youngest a baby, were taken hostage and did not survive. Yes, horrific.
Still, the reporting of Hamas using systematic mass rape as a strategy of terror are also false narratives. In war, many horrific things happen.
This is one of the most significant issues; people still believe that this is Isaac/Jacob against Ishmael, “a wild donkey of a man.” But during the Ottoman Empire, many Jews in the land converted to Islam over centuries — some by force, others to avoid taxation or persecution. These people remained on the land, farming, raising families, and speaking Arabic. So many modern Palestinians are likely descendants of ancient Israelite’s who never left.
Meanwhile, many European Jews returned to the land in the 19th and 20th centuries, the majority, under the Zionist Project — a secular nationalist movement, not so much a religious one. We would probably be shocked if a DNA test were allowed in that area.
Thankfully, under our Messiah’s Kingdom, no one needs a blood test or outer circumcision because its an inward heart condition that’s needed.
Another thing that truly grieves me is the profiles and the flags and the pompous pride amid genocide, but some would argue that genocide is really happening.
Would you post a flag and say I stand with Ahab and Jezebel? Their daughter? Athaliah murdered all her grandchildren to usurp the throne.
Be careful who you “ stand” with because who IS Israel? We who follow Jesus/Yeshua, follow Him in Spirit and Truth. Who are those truly following while claiming they are following Yeshua, Jesus, while following partisan political ideologies, Evangelical preachers, false prophets of prosperity and “greatness”, and a man who is committing war crimes?
Have we made idols of flags and ideologies of men?
Have we made the Land an idol? Have not many made the Temple an idol, when even as we know, as it says in the scriptures, who the true Temple is!
Do you stand with our American tax dollars paying for the weapons and 2000lb bombs Israel is dropping on sickened, injured, starving, and displaced people who have been forced to sleep in their makeshift, leaky tents amid rubble?
Israeli media is hiding the atrocities from their own people and attempt to hold on to their false narratives even in the face of evidence.
How DO you stand?
Whom do you serve?
Since October 7th, the world has watched in horror as violence has consumed the land of Israel and Gaza. I have mourned as it happened and have since been calling for the release of all the hostages and a just end to all violence.
I’ve prayed over the lives lost and over those traumatized on that day of horrors perpetrated against civilians by Hamas, and the horrors unleashed ever since, upon civilians of Gaza by the Israeli Military. I also cannot—and will not—disregard what’s continuing to happen now, as I write.
We cannot number the dead in Palestine. Thousands and thousands remain buried beneath rubble. And more are killed by the day! People are deliberately being starved…They lack water, they are Hungry. Hurting. Thirsty. Wounded. Orphaned. Abandoned. Forgotten.
As I prayed yesterday, “ I said, Father, babies are starving to death. Response? “ Bonnie, my people are starving to death.

What does it mean to follow Yeshua? Ezekiel laid on his side while people mocked. Yeshua Himself stood before leaders and was told, “Who gave you this authority?”
And still… He served. He gave his life.
Even when the tables are full and the helpers refuse to come, we must speak up for those who have no voice.
The bruised. The broken. The child holding flour in the shadows of bombs.
The souls too weary to sing.
But Light is coming.
The true Bread has not forgotten the broken, the lepers, the hungry. There’s still a song for the midnight hour.
And there are still servers in the storm—
Even if no one sees them but God.
